Yoni -Steaming is a powerful ancient remedy that has been used for centuries by women worldwide to support deep wellness. It is a holistic health practice in which a woman allows the warmth of herbal steam to gently permeate the exterior of her vagina. Yoni is a Sanskrit word meaning “vagina,” “womb,” “goddess” or “origin of life,” and yoni steaming is intended to support all these aspects of a woman. The practice brings a re-connection to the spiritual aspects of the female body and the potent energy that lies within. It is not only an opportunity for women to nourish and cherish our bodies, it is a tool for taking back ownership of our personal health, and for utilizing the wisdom of our herbs to support and nourish our well-being!
Yoni steaming can be used to support many ailments including: fibroids, endometriosis, irregular cycles, cramping, PMS, infertility, infections, menopause, odor and discharge, postpartum heling, releasing sexual trauma. But in my experience, there’s really nothing that yoni steaming can’t help with!
*Women who are pregnant should NOT steam. However, you can resume this wonderful practice postpartum! Do NOT steam during your moon cycle! If you suffer with PMS or cramping/ pain during menstruation I suggest steaming before your cycle begins. Women who have that had their tubes tied with tubal ligation should not steam. Do NOT steam when trying to conceive, during ovulation or after insemination.
